Toka is an introduction from the South Dakota Experiment Station, 1911. The fruit is medium to large, reddish to bronze in color. Flesh is firm, with a rich, spicy flavor. Best used for fresh eating and canning. It is a mid-season bloomer which ripens in mid-August through September. A hardy, vigorous, heavy bearer and an excellent pollinator.
