A multi-stemmed, upright, hardy shrub. Creamy-white flower clusters appear in spring turning to white berries late summer. Fruit is enjoyed by birds. Gray-green foliage from spring through summer turns purplish-red in the fall. New growth stems are red, maturing to gray stems for winter interest. Disease and insect resistant. A very adaptable plant. Will grow in wet or dry conditions. Best used for group and mass plantings, naturalizing and poor soil conditioned areas.
