Growth habit is rounded and compact. A strong graceful tree providing filtered shade. The branching is at right angles with lacy foliage. It adapts well to a wide range of soils and tolerates salt, heat and urban conditions. Resistant to storm damage. Best used as lawn tree, parks or street tree. Mostly seedless but may develop some pods. Thornless.
